Overview

Nestled in the heart of Kudus at Jl. HM Subchan ZE, Soho Coffee Times stands out as a distinctive coffee shop that combines industrial design with a relaxed vibe. Its unfinished facade and thoughtful interior create an inviting atmosphere perfect for those seeking a calm retreat from the bustle of the city. Whether you come here to catch up on work or simply unwind, Soho offers ample seating options, including outdoor spaces that let patrons enjoy the afternoon light—though a touch of heat through the glass panels upstairs might distract some.

The menu centers around coffee and sweet treats that cater to casual coffee lovers and dessert enthusiasts alike. Signature beverages such as Es Kopi Susu, Hazelnut Latte, and the classic Es Americano showcase a solid grasp of coffee craft with balanced flavors. Beyond coffee, their croffle—a hybrid of croissant and waffle—pairs nicely with selections like cheesecake, matcha cake, and strawberry shortcake, offering variety without overwhelming complexity. The inclusion of light bites like French fries and dim sum suggests a broader culinary ambition, but availability can be inconsistent, which may disappoint those hoping for savory companions to their coffee.

Soho Coffee Times thrives as an experience for visitors who appreciate ambiance as much as their cup. Customers frequently highlight the cozy, no-rush environment that invites extended stays—ideal for students, remote workers, or friends gathering for conversation. Parking is generous, accommodating both cars and motorcycles, while the division of smoking and non-smoking areas caters to diverse preferences.

In a city with many coffee spots, Soho Coffee Times carves its niche through design and atmosphere rather than menu innovation. While some guests note a need for broader flavor variety and improved food options, the overall impression remains positive. The space’s aesthetics and easy-going mood continue to attract patrons seeking a comfy, stylish locale where they can sip, snack, and linger at leisure.

For anyone visiting Kudus who values ambience paired with reliable coffee and desserts, Soho Coffee Times offers a thoughtful, well-curated experience that’s more than just a pit stop—it’s a haven to savor moments and flavors alike.

It' s really a good place to hang out and make some works done here. No rush and chill atmosphere made you can spend more than an hour to sit. I could finish summarized an article and enjoyed eating 2 cakes and an iced americano. Definitely can have another round of more than an hour here in the future. Good job

[Distinguish exterior and interior design, but not that impressive food and beverages] Kudus has relatively many coffee and eatery for a -not so- big city. So personally I think that the game is so competitive and every each coffee and eatery has to own their signature or strong points in one or more aspects. For Soho coffee times, I think the good point was their exterior and interior design. With the industrial-unfinished facade that really distinguish in Kudus, Soho really attracted my attention and I gladly put Soho on my list to explore. The interior was so good. They played the game on industrial concept really strong. Sorry, the food and beverages were not as good. The variety of the beverages were not that diverse but still has a good taste. The variety of food were really dissapointing as they only served sweet treats as millee crepes, one taste only croffle, chocolate cake, etc. They had plater food/french fries on the menu but Idk why they said I can't order that menu on the day I went there. How can people bear drink sweet beverages and eat ultra sweet blueberry mille crepes everytime we eat there (?). They really need to improve on that aspects. The outdoor seat were really enjoyable rather than indoor seat. The time I went there, I came at 4pm and I took the seat upstairs. On my seat I really bothered by the sunlight, it gets really hot and uncomfortable. Maybe bcs the big glass on the wall Idk. The parking area was slightly confusing as you have to go to another (but still conected) building. Like the cafe entrance faced the main street, but the parking area entrance faced the aisle. Other than that this coffe shop still one of a kind gems of coffee shop in Kudus. Keep a good work Soho!

Soho time. We had pain au chocolate, avocado coffee and avocado latte with ice cream. They tasted alright. No complaints. Plenty space for cars and motorcycles. Plenty sitting areas smoking or not. Plenty choices for desserts especially cheese cake. Clean place.

Coffee taste: 4 out of 5, not so bad. Coffee can be stronger. I appreciate the oat milk alternative. Cake taste: 2 out of 5. It’s not good. Better serve donut (safe option) than to serve cake but with such quality. Place / vibe: 5 out of 5. Superb. Kitchen is clean and neat.
